Saturday & Sunday, 19 & 20 March 2016

It is the final weekend of the 2015-2016 league season on Saturday and it would be great to finish off with a full house of wins.  It has been a mixed season with the higher teams struggling for results but we are delighted that the Women 3's & 4's are Suffolk Prem & Div 1 league Champions and the Men O50's are through to the National Finals.

Saturday, 19 March 2016
Home Fixtures
12.30pm - Men 1 v Cambridge University - Tuddenham Road
2.00pm - Men 3 v Norwich Dragon 4 - Tuddenham Road
This Sunday will be a busy one for the junior teams with the county round of the In2Hockey competition for the Under 10s at Felixstowe - girls in the morning and boys in the afternoon.  The Under 12 Girls are also in action in the afternoon at Henley Road.
Training will run as normal at Tuddenham Road - not sure whether Sarah Logan will be able to top the creme egg dribbling activity she organised last week!
As usual, we will finish the normal training sessions at Easter in line with the end of the adult season.  So March 20th is the last formal training session of the year.  However, we are aware that there is a demand for Hockey to continue after Easter so we are putting on three more sessions on Sunday mornings as an experiment.  These will be at Tuddenham Road on April 3rd, 10th, and 17th, at 10.00-11.00am for under 8s and under 10s, and 11.00am-12.00pm for under 12s and under 14s.  We will run matches with coaching support rather than skills training.  As these are additional sessions, we will need to make a small charge for each session of £2.00 for members, and £5.00 for non-members.
