Ipswich win the 2015-16 League (again)

Ipswich 1 have won the Winter Suffolk Squash League for the 2015-16 season.

The season saw the Club's 1st team come back from forfeiting the first match of the season 0-18 and come through narrowly to win their third consecutive title! ISC1 were able to turn out a consistently solid team and finished strong to clinch the title.

Stand out performances are aplenty but it's yet again the junior members of the team who have cemented Ipswich's third title. Josh Turmel led the team at the top of the order with some notable wins throughout the season. He has been well supported by his younger siblings Ben and Lucy who both dominated their respective positions. The rest of the team was backed up by Tom Ison, Kristian Day, Luke Munday and Ryan Betts who provided significant firepower to secure a third title.

ISC1 & ISC2 now turn their attention to the 3rd East Anglian Super Cup, which will be played at ISC on 23rd April and will feature the top 4 teams from the both Division 1 & 2.

ISC would like to take this opportunity to thank their long standing sponsor Bristos who continue to support the Squash & Racketball section at Ipswich Sports Club.
