The Ipswich Sports Club Tennis Academy has had a very successful year since the last AGM in April 2014.

A large number of players have achieved success on a County, Regional and National level and continued to show great potential for the future.
The LTA have been restructuring their performance network over the past year which has been challenging for the Club but we are waiting to hear how the new performance network may or may not benefit the Club and our individual players in terms of funding support.

There have been a great number of individual successes for ISC Players as outlined below:

Isabelle Eaton – Won a Grade 2 Under 10 National event in Sheffield and came runner-up in Grade 2 event in Glasgow.  Finished in 3rd place in the end of season Grade 1 National Finals.  Has attended regular National Training Camps at Under 10 and Under 12 level and was recently selected to represent Great Britain Under 12 girls in a team event in Belgium where she performed very well.  Issy is in a first season at Under 12 level and currently competing in Grade 2 Under 12 competitions.

A special mention to Harry Wilson and Jack Ardern who have improved hugely over the past year and are an integral part of the Club, representing the Men's and Mixed teams and competing to a high level in competitions.

We have held two Social Events for the Junior Section – a BBQ in the Summer Term and a family Mini Tennis Tournament and Quiz at Christmas which were very well attended.

A big thank you to the Coaching Team who have continued to develop their knowledge and experience and worked very hard to achieve the success with all the players
.
