"Just wanted to drop you a note to say how much I’ve enjoyed attending James’ Fit2Dance Studio Class the last couple of weeks - SUCH a hoot.  Even after sweating my way through BodyPump® and BodyCombat® last night, I couldn’t wait to do the dance class (true, I’m totally knackered today, but TOTALLY worth it).  James is a great instructor, both for the dance class and when covering BodyPump®, BodyCombat® etc.  He’s got such enthusiasm and good attention to detail, it makes you feel like you’re in safe hands.  Mags and Rob remain a credit to the Studio team – I have never lifted such heavy weights as I currently do and it’s through their encouragement and motivation that I now can...and of course I have always loved Ivan’s classes.  I feel a real sense of achievement when I walk out of the Studio every week."

Like to say the new Fit2Dance Studio Class is exciting and a great cardio workout.  James makes it fun with his unique style of dance.  Recommend everyone to try it out.  Great fun!!

"8.30-9.30am Friday morning Cardio Tennis, what a great way to get fit and have a heap of fun and laughs.  Doesn’t matter if you’re a Tennis player or not, just put in the effort and reap the rewards.  Tennis Manager Sam Scowen is a fantastic motivator with a sense of humour.  This form of brilliant exercise is a must for anyone who wants to improve their general fitness."

"On behalf of all the Woodbridge Friends of St Elizabeth Hospice a massive thank you to all at Ipswich Sports Club for all your help in our recent Tennis Tournament...you even provided the most marvellous weather!!!  Thank you for your generosity in allowing us to use the courts, the lunch was absolutely delicious and thank you to Cheryl for all your help...brilliant!!!  We raised £644.00 for the Hospice which we are so thrilled with.  Thank you from us all."

"I absolutely love your classes, and your instructors are great.  Having belonged to a few gyms in Ipswich before I can say that your Gym provides the best instructors in my opinion, getting the right balance between being professional and having a laugh to entertain the class.  Mags is particularly good..I have her for BodyCombat® on a Saturday.  And whoever covered her class this morning...a lady...she was awesome too!  I didn't catch her name but I hope she does more classes with you."

"I joined ISC in August 2015 to generally improve my fitness and specifically to help my lower back problems.  I now attend 7 Studio Classes each week, each one providing different benefits.  My back problems have almost disappeared and I have lost 18 lbs since I joined!  Also the facilities are very good with the Gym also available when I need it.  It is a very sociable Club with excellent restaurant facilities."

"At the end of 2014 I was diagnosed as being Pre-Diabetic (with fasting blood sugar levels just below 8) and was advised that without a change in diet and taking exercise this could lead to me developing Diabetes.  In October 2015, I had my chloesterol level checked.  It was too high.  With the combination of pre-diabetes and high cholesterol I had to do something to improve my future health.
 
I went to see Vienna and she put together an exercise routine that would suit me.  I then started to go to the Gym on a regular basis.  Twice per week for just forty minutes a time.
 
After just three months of going to the Gym I have had my firs check up at the Doctors and my fasting blood sugar level is completely normal (4.38) and my cholesterol level has fallen.  I have also lost 1.5 inches off my waist!
 
There is still work to be done to reduce my cholesterol to a health level but after just three months, the change is very positive."

"I just wanted to say a special big thank you to Leanne, Karen and Vienna for helping me on my journey to transform my body.  I have lost over 7 stone with Slimming World and have managed to keep the weight off for 4 years.  However, during this last year in particular, these ladiews have helped tone, shape and build my strength up and have increased my fitness levels up to the likes of which I have never experienced before.
 
The Studio Classes are superb and they offer a wide variety of choice for beginners to those that prefer a more physical challenge.  I especially enjoy the Cardio Tone and Core Blast classes in addition to the personalised resistance Gym programme I have been given.  These combined sessions certainly hit the spot and give me a thorough top to toe workout.
 
It just goes to show that it is never too late to turn your life around.  Many thanks."

"Following the appointment of the new Studio Manager, Karen Turmel in Summer 2014, the programme of Studio Classes, both evening and daytime have been transformed.  There are a wide variety of classes ranging from relaxing/stretching Pilates, BodyBalance and Yoga; cardio classes such as BodyCombat, Circuits, Spin, Insanity, and strengthening and toning classes such as Fitball, BodyPump and Core/Abs classes.
 
There is something for everyone at any age and fitness level.  I attend a variety of classes and cansay that the instructors are of a high standard and are always there to give lighter options to the exercises in the class as well as tougher ones!
 
If you like dancing or have always wanted to give it a go, the Zumba and FitSteps Dance classes are fun and a good way to burn off a few calories.
 
What I like about the classes is that they are held in a relaxed atmosphere and everyone is so friendly, and it is a great way to meet other members."

"The Studio Classes at Ipswich Sports Club are very enjoyable.  There is lots of choice and great instructors.  If you want to keep fit and active this is the place to come.  All classes were held over the summer months unlike some clubs, so there was no disruption to your exercise routine.  The Club is family friendly, sociable and with a great atmosphere."
